Ice puddle

We may have no snow in the south east but the icy puddles were rather splendid this morning! The sunshine was glorious and it was hard to choose a photo to share. I chose this one because it’s odd.

When I was young I used to love imagining I was in an aeroplane looking down on earth at the patterns made by things such as sand dunes or ice. Or when looking into the fire in the hearth, I’d imagine I was Frodo at Mordor and had to find a way through the flaming corridors. This puddle had that effect on me.
