Enjoying some time in the sun

Temperatures below zero during the night and a very bright but frosty start to the day.
The Heritage Park loch was partially frozen but there was enough open water for the swans and the geese who were sensible enough not to land on the ice.
When I got back to the car the temperature read 11°C .... not surprising as the sun was beating down on the bonnet of the car. As I drove home I was out of the direct rays of the sun and I watched the temperature drop a degree at a time until it was at 1°C by the time I got home.
