Digital Babysitter

We had a doctor's appointment this morning, and although it was just a routine checkup and he wasn't actually ill, the nursery didn't want the boy to come in afterwards as it would be too late and disrupt the schedule. But I still had some stuff to do in work after my holiday last week, so I just took him with me, fully prepared to leave at short notice if he got bored. But thanks to some of his favourite books and the digital babysitter, he was a real trooper and I managed to get two hours work done. As a reward I took him for a run around outside in the afternoon and let him choose a treat when we went shopping for dinner.
