Tapiocas

Tapiocas and requeijão.

I made tapiocas for breakfast and served them with a homemade requeijão (a Brazilian cheese spread) I made last night. For the uninitiated, I really can’t describe what tapiocas are like. They are made from damp tapioca starch (similar to cornstarch) which coheres into a sort of tortilla (loose analogy... they are their own thing) when heated in a skillet.
