Entry gates....

....to the other house.
They were, apparently, gates over windows somewhere in Egypt. We found them years ago in a “junk”/ antique shop. A blacksmith came and fitted them and made some more bits to match and place into some other gaps in the portico. They look derelict but that is how we like them. I think, after looking at them this afternoon, I’d better go and clear the spider webs and the wasp nest I noticed out there. They really do make it look neglected out there! Oops!
