2015-06-11 (Day 162) Murray Square Clock

I found myself in Tillicoultry today, where I stopped to photograph the Murray Square Clock.

This strange feature was donated to the village in 1931 by Provost Thomas Murray as part of his efforts to improve the bus terminus in Tillicoultry. It stands opposite the Evangelical Congregational church, with both being dwarfed by the Ochil Hills that rise so suddenly from the valley floor.

On a side note, my Canon G7X has been replaced with a new copy of the camera. This time, I guess, I'm going to have to buy a camera case for it!
