Nuts

The Netherlands will be under curfew from 9pm to 4.30am from Saturday night until at least the morning of February 10 in an effort to get the number of positive coronavirus cases down.

It snowed last night. There would be a chance of slipperiness. Every road authority has the freedom to make their own choices about where and when slippery conditions can lead to dangerous conditions and often the choice whether or not to use the sprinkler depends on the importance of the road.

Now, we live on a quiet street where it is only busy when the shops are open. (pre-corona times)
Why should sprinkling be done twice at night, in the night from a Saturday to a Sunday, in a car-free street when a curfew has been set?
