Wading redshank

Once again today has been clear, bright and very cold. I went for a lovely distanced walk with my friend again along the shore. I'm amazed at the abundance of birds on this short, rather detritus filled beach but perhaps thats why? It's an estuarine beach where a freshwater river meets the Forth so lots of good feeding I guess.
Once again difficult to choose my blip but I've added two extras out of several possibles. Days like this help to remind that in spite of everything we still have a beautiful world to enjoy :) And to remind me that I am luckier than many living where I do.
