Sunset Delight
Last night Mrs CBL and I enjoyed the first of our Burns Suppers for this year with a takeaway from the golf club kitchen.
The meal was a superb and this was what was on our menu; Freshly Caught Haggis (from Mormand Hill, Strichen), Bashed Neeps, Champit Tatties and a Thochtie of Fine Mince.
This was followed by Drunken Clootie Dumpling Cheesecake (me) and Profiteroles filled with Raspberry Cranachan Cream with White Chocolate Sauce (Mrs CBL) and to finish a glass of Glayva, slàinte!
Today we managed a walk in the frosty air to recover from the festivities, we have have to do a couple more to clear the head!
