Feast of a day

I photographed my lunch incase it proved to be the most interesting part of my day.  Ex-pats reading this will understand (or see here). Lunch wasn't, as it turns out, the main event - but it is the only photograph I took. 

Five hours straight of online English coaching, and although it all went really well, a wholly satisfying afternoon, the winners this week of the "Thank you for making another Sunday in lockdown a good one" with warm fuzzy feelings are: 
a Japanese teenager who talked about her pet crayfish, 
two Turkish university students in the middle of semester finals, and 
a young woman in Saudi whose enthusiasm for learning was a lesson for us all

Beans were great though.
