Life's tangled skein

2016-04-26 (Day 117) Hillend Reservoir

Back in the days of my youth, I was a member of the Garrowhill branch of the Cyclists' Touring Club. The club organised Sunday Runs, on which we cycled to various places, enjoying being out on the road.

In the summer, the runs were long. In winter, short. One of the shortest runs was to Hillend Reservoir, between Airdrie and Whitburn.

Well, today I drove past Hillend Reservoir and stopped for a look. I don't think I remember it being quite so pretty!
