2016-10-05 (Day 279) Spider's Web At The Roundabo

I was driving home from Tesco when I spotted this - it's a spider's web, of course, but it has been spun beneath the light that illuminates a road sign at a roundabout.

The light (from above) catches the web and makes it shine brilliantly. Cars pass by day and night with no idea of what they are passing, meanwhile the smaller insects are attracted to the light, and caught in the web.

Somewhere near, there is a very well-fed spider!
