2016-12-29 (Day 364) David Stirling Memorial

Colonel Sir Archibald David Stirling founded the Special Air Service, the British Army's famous special forces unit.

This memorial to Stirling stands just west of Bridge Of Allan, and is dedicated to all the soldiers of the SAS. It stands on the Hill of Row, with Stirling leaning athletically forward and gazing out over the valley.
