2017-03-31 (Day 090) Beecraigs Loch

Beecraigs Loch is a popular fishing loch in the Beecraigs Country Park, near Linlithgow.

The loch was built as a reservoir by German prisoners of war during the first world war, and was used as a reservoir until 1972. Since then it has been used as a trout hatchery and a fishing loch.

And, of course, a swimming pool for swans and ducks.
