Bird on a Stick

Another delivery of snow overnight meant we woke up to a thin layer of white, we also had bright sunshine. I (Chris) had a quick walk at lunchtime but actually photographed this starling in the back garden just after putting some mealworms out on my return. On the walk I photographed red kites who were lit rather nicely with the sunshine reflecting off the snow, normally they tend to be much darker on the underside (see extra). 

Annie had a walk in the afternoon sunshine to make sure she topped up her vitamin D. Lovely to see a beautiful blue sky and snow on the distant Chiltern hills.
