Ice Macro

As the weather became warmer the ice has begun to melt but I wanted to capture something of its quality by photographing a disk of ice which I had rescued from the top of an upturned plant pot. I wanted to backlight it to reveal its interior beauty. I struggled to find a way to upend without it slipping away but in the end wedged in the top of a laurel hedge.
