Giant Festival Square TV

Zero marks for originality today. The front of this thing was blipped by Mr Smith yesterday. I have blipped the back of it today. Of course, me being me, I had to include a random passerby at the edge of the frame :-)

Some of those who commented on Mr Smith's blip explained that this TV screen is being put in place for the 2012 Olympics. Gosh! That's just what we needed. Not. The trams and now this... I do declare that this beloved city of mine is going to hell in a handcart...

Incidentally, if any of you happens to know the derivation of that last phrase, please do tell. I find it very expressive, but I have no idea of the significance of the handcart.
