2019-04-15 (Day 105) Sweet Charity

Photographing an Edinburgh Music Theatre show is always a pleasure. The company always brings an amazing level of enthusiasm, energy and commitment to their productions, and this year's show - Sweet Charity - is no exception.

From start to end, the show clips along. Everybody on stage knows exactly what they are doing; the singing and dancing are splendid throughout. All of the principals are very strong, and the cast is led by the excellent Emma Watson playing the title role. With a rare combination of skill and charm, of acting, song and dance it is impossible not to warm to Emma's ever-optimistic character.

I highly recommend a visit to this show - with cracking numbers like Hey Big Spender, Rhythm Of Life, and If They Could See Me Now this is a great night out, in the company of a great theatre company.
