Flight Club

I remember when I was about 8 years old mum taking me and my brother to Hurley’s Stationers on Kilburn High Road. Ray chose Herge’s Tintin, and I picked up an Oor Wullie Annual, recognising DC Thompson comic drawings. It was the first time that I had to read a text in dialect rather than standard English. Shuggie Bain is nae bother!

A mizz day weather-wise.
