Liss forest

It’s army land and occasionally it is closed when the army are practising manoeuvres and we can hear gun shoots. It is mostly a pine forest and sandy soil.

Today is was lovely for walking as the ground wasn’t too muddy after all the rain. There are many puddles though and a newt swam across a tiny stream in front of me and I managed to get a photo of him (if you look carefully!)
