Bassenthwaite Lake from Binsey.

It was cold on the top of Binsey as we ate our picnic lunch...the mist was swirling around in the strong, cold wind...

Binsey, one of our local fells, is the most northerly of the Wainwrights.

On a clear day there are fabulous views of Scotland, Coniston Old Man, Scafell Pike, and Great Gable ( as well as about 30 other Wainwrights ).

There is a tumulus on top of Binsey too...
