Veg again

Mrs B has cricked her back while turning the compost heap; apart from being a loving and patient husband, my jobs for the day turned into completing the compost heaps and going shopping for vegetables.

So it became a Blip opportunity and this gentleman, at the Everton farm shop, obliged – with the qualification, "You're not going to put it on FaceBook are you?".

And I completed the questionnaire on the London Luton Airport airspace changes.  LLA and NATS have not done it well, ending up with a hold near Grafham Water (lower limit 8,000ft), which is fine, but then routeing all flights over this village and the one to the south.  There could easily be variation of the routes, but as it is the proposal has up to twenty aircraft an hour over Gamlingay and Potton whichever is the runway.

Of course, what are the chances of airline traffic returning to pre-pandemic levels?  Whatever the upshot, the consultation should have included the local councils from the beginning, instead of a fait accomplis which suits no one but the air traffickers at LLA.

Yes, we're moving away, but I should use my campaigning energy and knowledge of aviation to benefit someone before I go . . .
