All square ....

.....well not really as T won our first game.

Inspired by Queen's Gambit , T bought chess pieces so we could play on a (rather lovely) board he got from his father.

It's been over 20 years since I last played and was pleased to avoid some traps which T set up. Good to try something different.

Looking forward to seeing some friends playing live on Facebook tonight.
