Orrest Head

We took advantage of Mr P having to go to the doctor's surgery in Windermere,  to have a quick stroll up Orrest Head.  Snow on the high fells is melting. Did you see the film Life of a Mountain  about Helvellyn  on BBC 4 the other evening. That showed snow on the fells. I had no idea there was a ski-slope in the Lakes.  Anyway its all melting now. It was a balmy 7°C today

We went to pick up a blood pressure machine . Mr P scared me on Monday by fainting on the landing!  He was leaning on the bannisters having a dizzy spell and was lucky he didn't topple over the top.
