Bling on a dull day

Today has been very dark with rain, sleet and snow - definitely a day for indoor activities.  It is the weekend of the RSPB Big Garden Bird Count so I started doing it but hardly any birds braved the weather to come to the garden.  I'll do my hour tomorrow instead and hope for a result more typical of my garden.

I spent time doing some sketching and painting but not what I wanted to blip.  I love costume jewellery and this is a detail from one of my favourite necklaces.  It's a long time since I've been anywhere to dress up!
