Big bird watch

Out for a very cold walk this morning and hubby suggested that when we got back we sit in the dining room for an hour and do the RSPB bird watch thing. So we did, I made hot chocolate and we spend an hour with binoculars and camera at the ready. What a waste of time, I think it was the time of day and we should have done it earlier, we actually manage to record wood pigeons, magpie and robin. The highlight was a group of four squirrels chasing through the trees just beyond the garden.
Nice cosy reading session on the settee with the fire on late afternoon.
Settling down for a double of Spiral tonight. Until then radio and book.
