Searching for a way forward

Along the river there used to be a path. Well we couldn't  find it. We still had a lovely  walk even although Star had to be on the long lead due to her being  in season.
She still collapsed for an hour after we got home. 
The ice under the new snow is challenging, but we are getting  used to it. I suppose we have to.
Tonight's dinner was a new dish for us.  Smoked haddock chowder. Thanks to the new fish monger in town, fabulous smokies frae Arbroath.
