Santos Bike Trails........ WHAT A DAY!!!!!

This is a back blip.  All of the photos were taken yesterday.  My friend, Pam and I rode 37 miles.  We went to Santos and took off with our bikes.
From top,L down:  1: The Ocala Horse Park.  A facility that was built 10 years ago for all sorts of equine activities ,  2 : the first culvert that was built in the forest for bikers, hickers,  riders, and walkers to go under the roads that crisscross Marion County.  Notice a small, silver, round spot.  That actually is a convex mirror so that everyone can see each other approaching the culverts and pass through safely.
Bottom L3: is a custom made recumbent three wheeler that is motorized.  The man in the picture hand-formed the fiberglass body to fit the bike.  He told me more technical stuff about how he did it than I could grasp in short order!
Right top:  The sign for the Land Bridge.  It goes over Interstate 75.   It was incredible to look down what I have driven under for the last 30 year:s!

R2  Santos is shared with equines.  When I rode up to the bridge, these 3 people, sitting their horses, were looking for a clear moment to ride their horses down the other side.   There are signs every where that states Trail Etiquette gives the horses "right of way".
R 3: I was looking down from the bridge onto the interstate as traffic passed underneath both ways.   It was really something.
A the end of the day, we were both tired, but thrilled.  We rode our bikes from one trailhead to the other at 49th Street, and back again.  We meet terrific people who were out loving the day as much as we were, doing their thing.   It was a thrill to run down hills at 23 mph and exit the other side.
Last night, I was only interested in food and shower, walking the girls and off to bed, hence the reason for a backblip.
