Long January

At last we have reached the end of January. It has felt 60 days long.
Today has been very wet and whilst I went out for a walk Mrs BR spent all day in her craft room. There’s always some sorting to do as when the grandchildren come they disappear into this room and close the door behind them. It’s fair to say they are all quite creative and emerge with some lovely drawings or little felt animals. We have really missed them this week.

We feel a little sad they are now stuck at home with parts of their house dismantled. The builders of course are not allowed to continue in the part of their house that is boarded off. The oil tank has no oil because it was being moved and today their washing machine stopped working. Happy days. Since they are in isolation we can’t even help with that.
