Burradon Tower

It's quite some distance from the village of Burradon but I guess when it was built in 1553 it probably was not called Burradon Tower.  It was likely built for someone called Bertram Anderson who was among other things a merchant adventurer in Newcastle upon Tyne. It's not very big and you rather think a swashbuckling adventurer like Bertram would have gone for something a bit grander.
