Frozen

An unusual experience this morning. Ahead of a trip to the tip this morning I had loaded the various wooden pallets for recycling into the car last night. The moisture in the wood had coated the interior glass which had then frozen in the sub zero temperature last night. The rear view mirror had ice on it and the windscreen dripped heavily onto the console as the car warmed up.

After the tip visit and both to give the car a run and dry the interior a bit I went for a short drive. The Pentland hills were looking wintry. This is just about as close as I could get to get a photo without going into the next local authority area.

The next 4+ hours were spent shifting soil from the back garden to the front. Over 20k steps today!

A final push tomorrow should see the soil cleared before the next snow comes.
