Jinney Ring

After I saw a new customer this morning who wanted tuition on her new iPad we drove to the Jinney Ring Craft Centre to meet our friends Nicola and Stewart for lunch.

The place was quite busy considering it was a cold, cloudy mid-week lunchtime; mainly 'the retired' such as us, struggling by with our pittance of a pension ;-)

Anyway we had a very nice lunch and chat and by the time we'd finished the sun had come out and it looked quite pleasant outside. The centre is a series of small workshops, glassblowing, chocolate maker, artist etc. plus a shop, built round an old building where the restaurant is, backing onto a grassy area with two lakes, lots of ducks and a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. We took a walk around to see the ducks and take advantage of the sun which we have not seen for about a week.

ps I have not used an iPad before today though I do own an Android tablet. Luckily most tech is intuitive :-)
