Gretsch Guitar

The album artwork is finally finished and this picture will be on the actual CD.  It is a photo of a very special guitar.

If anyone has any guitar interest, it is a 1954 Gretsch 6022  'Rancher' guitar, featuring cactus and steer-horn inlays and a cattle-brand 'G' on the body. They were originally made between 1954 and 1957, for the burgeoning country music market in the USA, and this is one of the first 25 to be made.

You can see it has 3 wooden blanks on the body which are a bit of a mystery but when Mandy first got the guitar a few months ago, she wrote a song about it with a possible explanation....  it's  here if you fancy a listen.
