The village where I live has some lovely heritage trails.
One is of the properties of significant historical interest, another is for the blue plaques denoting people of various social and political standing, then there is this trail, of which there are 100 plaques, on the properties in the village commemorating the soldiers who lived there before going to fight in WW1
