startled

This is a newcomer to the morning peanut handout on my back porch.
She has yet to take a peanut from my hand, but has come up for a closer look.
And of course she has eaten the peanuts I throw out to her.
And this is the first time said newcomer saw my dog stick her head out the door to say howdy do!
I wonder if the newcomer will be back tomorrow or will seek her peanuts elsewhere.
