Salted Caramel Brownies

Baked a double batch of brownies today to deliver to my friend for her teenage kids. Her mum recently had a stroke and she’s busy caring for her and juggling home schooling so I thought they needed a treat.

First time I’ve baked salted caramel brownies and am pleased they turned out well. I baked caramel chocolate brownies with smarties for the kids and salted caramel for the adults.

Obviously kept some back to taste test and popped a couple in the freezer too (you know in case of emergency)!
