Happy New Year! Celebrated by drinking bubbles in my vintage style champagne glasses and had a family zoom call with mum, dad and my bro’s which was hilarious. Thought I’d feel lonely but it wasn’t too bad.

This year has taught me the true value of my closest friends and to embrace the small things in life. I’ve always appreciated nature on walks, baking and making things and gestures of kindness by sending cards or phoning a loved one to cheer them up but this year I appreciated these little things all the more.

Hopeful that 2021 brings an end to lockdown life, vaccinations and some return to normality although I suspect it won’t be until Spring at the earliest.
