An invitation turning to excitement!

I have been given the date for my first Covid vaccination and I can't help feeling excited at the change it might bring even if it is only the first of many steps. The sky was blue, the birds were singing and the rich scent of witch hazel flowers filled the air.  It felt like spring.  It felt like hope.
