Westward Ho!

A small holiday resort on the North Devon coast, which takes its name from a book by author, Charles Kingsley (1819-75). As is usually stated, it is the only UK place name to have an exclamation mark.
A more well known author, J. G. Ballad (Crash, Empire of the Sun), apparently said that  being forced to copy lines from the novel as punishment, when aged eight or nine, was the moment he realised he would become a writer.
It's a pity my punishment of having to copy "I wandered lonely as a cloud" did not not turn me into a poet.
I couldn't decide between the main or extra so have included both.

Many thanks to BobsBlips for hosting the book title themed wide wednesday.
