Caravan

Lockdown 3

It must be spring because the travellers are back. They usually arrive on this stretch of road around this time of year.
It might all look a bit chaotic. There’s an old white van out of shot and their horses are tethered along the verges. There are carvings,  piles of wood, a couple of  solar panels and a big bag of carrots for the animals . However when  they go they usually  take every scrap of rubbish away with them and the only sign they’ve been there is that the grass is well cropped by the horses.
Their way of life wouldn’t suit me , I like a nice hot shower, but each to his own.
Some people who follow a more conventional way of life, but see fit to chuck their fast food wrappers all over the countryside, could learn quite a lot from these peaceful folk.

This is for Wide Wednesday hosted by Bobsblips. He has suggested a link to a book title. Oh dear I hadn’t realised that. I suppose it would have to be the AA camping and caravanning guide!!
Also fits the Bill for Wild Wed I think. Wild camping of course!
