Fascinating to watch and listen to the furore around the horse meat scandal. Farmers seem to be rubbing their hands in anticipation that we all drive demand for traceable and homegrown food.

Bring back the high street butcher I say rather than sort the supermarket food chain. Not convinced the public will be happy to foot the bill though.

We could be eating horse for a while...
