Saint Blaise

Today I've opened the last Christmas panettone to respect the tradition of "blessings for the throat".
More info from Wikipedia ... Blaise of Sebaste was a physician and bishop of Sebastea in historical Armenia (modern Sivas, Turkey) who is venerated as a saint and martyr in the Roman Catholic and Orthodox church and is the patron saint of throat and nose disease.
On February 3rd in the "milanese tradition" people use to open and eat the last piece of panettone left after Christmas holidays as good health omen.
