Christmas rose

View from the living room window showing just a part of the ' christmas rose '   shlumbergera. It's still looking fantastic.. 6 ft wide altogether.

Extra also shows the view looking down from the bedroom window. , notably of the maple in the pot. The orangey red branches were glowing. 

Another wet day. A local walk which Fletch seemed to enjoy but I'm already fed ip with these grey wet days.

Sat and listened to my audio book while I finally sat and sewed my soft cream aran jumper.  The weather forecast is for colder weather so it will be well worn over the next few days.
Getting  on with Ms brown aran jumper.  Lots of different cables and celtic knots so it's a case of knit 20 rows , discover a mistake and unravel 3 rows... that's the trouble with knitting as you're watching Netflix.

A quick 'teatime walk' tonight '. Waited till it stopped raining but it seemed darker earlier tonight. 

Lots of news re the efficacy  of the different Covid vaccines  and the new strains... I think this maybe a  week when I dont watch the news too much. M seems to be doing a lot of yelling at the tv recently.
