Round and Round

Knitting a sock with two circular needles. It's much easier than using double points, and your work doesn't slip off an unguarded end. If I were going to start again I would get two different color needles to keep me organized. True confession: it made absolutely no sense to me until I started to do it, and then it was perfectly clear. Size One needles are awfully tiny. I said I would never knit socks, and here I am on my third pair. There is something compelling about the whole process. Part of it is the engineering--greater minds than mine have worked out a very clever formula to make something that actually fits on a human foot.
