Snack time

The sulphur-crested cockatoos are having a great time with the ripening seeds in the neighbour’s tree. Same tree in our backyard ripens a little later so then I can get some closer shots.

Not sure what its proper name is but is we call it a pepper tree....(ok I could investigate and get it right!)
[Here it is - Scientific name: Schinus molle - from Peruvian Andes. We sent eucalyptus to the Americas where they are a weed and we imported the peppercorn tree which is a weed here.]
