The (no longer) Majestic Picture Palace

Well, I did threaten another cinema blip! This wonderful building opened as The Majestic Cinema in 1921 with a capacity of 1300.  A name change to The Majestic Picture Palace occurred 7 years later,  becoming The Essoldo in 1951. Final film showing was in 1973. The site was more recently used as a Snooker Hall, martial arts gym and nightclub which closed in 2018.
