Flower Friday - Double Hibiscus

The double hibiscus bush is in bloom and I liked the view from this side of the bush with the palm trees behind in the early morning light and that nice curve of the building on the right!

I think because of the fires a lot more birds seem to be around. In extras are some Pink and Grey Galahs on a street light. Toto barked at them as they were making a bit of noise in a tree as we walked past so they all flew up there until Mr Grumpy had gone ;o).  The other two extras are of the lakeside from two different angles this afternoon. There are only a few ibis left at the moment as they always go away during the hottest part of summer.  In their place are the Black Swan pair and quite a lot of other smaller ducks who have just shown up today. These are sneaky shots through the trees as I was fascinated to see all those ducks.

There were no new cases of the virus reported today so we have come out of lockdown but with quite a few restrictions left in place. Masks to continue to be worn when outside the home and tracking app to be used at all places visited via QR code plus the other usual precautions.  We are living a charmed life here as the original case had around 160 fairly close contacts all of which are still negative whew!!!

Thanks to Anni/Biker Bear for keeping Flower Friday going ;o)
