Flower Friday - Iris reticulata

We started the day with a nice, mild sunny morning and a good walk around the village of Haddenham.

We now have what feels like our daily rain so the ground will stay wet and muddy.

Despite the adverse weather the garden continues to show signs of the lengthening days with lots of snowdrops and crocuses out and this week the appearance of the Iris reticulata, vivid colour against the dark damp earth.
