Have Camera Will Travel

A walk around Seamer.

The rain had finally stopped but very damp and foggy. We decided to extend our walk and take in the village.

We walked along Main Street past a courtyard on our left then over the road to view the stocks and the Old jail (now a barbers) from here we walked down Stockshill and took in a different view of the church. At the bottom of the lane if you look over the field you can just make out the ruins of the old Manor House. We returned to the main road and walked past the front of the church (St Martins). We then turned left and walked up Chew lane where I took my main blip of tiny succulents growing atop a mossy wall. Carrying on up the lane I spotted this fungi growing in the hedge row.

Carrying on we first crossed over the railway line and then a very quiet A64 joining Metes lane - where I spied the trees full of catkins.

We arrived home two hours later.

This afternoon online shopping for new internal doors. Mr PC will be busy.
