Lees Station

The upper image is from my morning walk today along the route of the old London and North Western line from Oldham to Greenfield. The station was built in 1856 and closed in 1955. The middle image is the derelict station from 1962 and the lower one from 1954 (I think).
There was an engine shed to the right, behind the station, and this continued in use until 1964. I used to live in a house built on the site of the engine shed then moved about half a mile along the track to my current place which overlooks the old line.
